The Counseling & Placement Cell, Department of Extension Education, College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh is working since the inception of the JAU for the advancement of career & personality development, and 100% placement of the students of our College.
The Cell has a library with capacity of around 300 books for the preparation of different competitive examinations, improve general knowledge, subjective knowledge, etc. are regularly available to the students. The students are acquainted with guidance on different issues, viz. higher study in India through JRF & abroad through IELTS, TOEFEL, G-MAT, other competitive exams, different projects etc. Every year lectures by experts of different faculties/subjects are arranged for the students to update their knowledge.
Different banks like Union Bank of India, State Bank of India, Dena Bank and many pesticides and fertilizer companies visit our college for Campus Interview and there is placement of our students through our Cell.
The students are encouraged for their approach to further studies in abroad and around 50 of our students are in different countries for their further studies. A student of our college is now an IAS officer. One more student have cleared administrative exam just after B.Sc. (Agri). Our Counseling & Placement Cell, Department of Extension Education, College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh plays a vital role in the development of the students of our College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh. We are organizing guest lectures, mock interviews, personality development classes, etc.
