Agricultural School was established in 1960. Previously, it was comes under Gujarat Agricultural University. After that, GAU has been splitted into four Agricultural Universities of the state in 2004. Presently, it working under Director of Extension Education, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. Agricultural school imparted two year of Diploma Gujarati courses which has only single school in Gujarat State.
(A) Objectives :
- To impart scientific practical knowledge to the sons of farmers where they utilize their knowledge for the betterment of farming.
- To give scientific knowledge about Agriculture so they working in different Agricultural public/private sectors.
- Agricultural school provides idea/skills for self Agri. business.

(C) Facilities :
- Hostel : Without paying any fees of hostel and is compulsory for all the candidates. Hostel mess governed by the students themselves.
- Library : There are 851 books related to different subjects available in library.
- Museum : Crop and variety wise seeds, implements related to crop protection, dairy, soil survey and extension education aids are available in museum.
- Farm : Out of total 19.04 ha. Land, 15.11 ha land is under cultivation with medium irrigation facilities for practical work and seed production programme of cotton, sesame, cumin, onion and castor are being taken and truthfull seeds are supplied to farmers.
- Education Tour : Field/Education tour were planned every year with object that candidate become familiar with research activities of different research station of Agril. Universities.
- Sports : Participation in Sports competition organized every year at university level.
- Stipend : The stipend Rs. 190/- per month is paid by Junagadh Agricultural University to the students except SC and ST Categories.
- Scholarship : SC/ST students were obtained scholarship from the Gujarat State Social Welfare Department as per norms.

2. Examination :
There are two internal tests and final examinations in each year were taken according to the rules of J.A.U., Junagadh, all the examination process conducted by Director of Extension Education, J.A.U., Junagadh.
(E) Admission Details :
- The candidates must have passed a new SSC or its equivalent examination
- The age of the candidates must be 15 to 25 years.
- The students are admitted according to merit.
- The native of candidate must be of Saurashtra region.
- Farmers son weightage 5 %
- Admission Seats 30.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates 7.15 and 27 % respectively or as per norms.
- SSC pass with Agril. Subject weightage 2 %.
