Monitoring research activities of the research projects
sponsored by ICAR, Government of India, Government of
Gujarat and
other agencies & NGOs.
·
Controlling of breeder seed production of various crops.
·
Monitoring and developmental activities of the farms of main
campus and sub centers.
·
Establishment of linkages with the State Government & ICAR to
implement the updated guidelines of Government and ICAR.
·
To motivate the scientists for undertaking research projects
from Government, Semi-Government and other private
agencies.
·
Recommendation for allocation of plan, ICAR and other
agencies budget to various departments and centers of this
university.
·
Monitoring the academic activities of the Post Graduate
Students.
·
To undertake collaborative research programmes/educational
programmes with various research/academic institutes.
·
To get approval of sponsored research schemes through
research council meetings.
·
To organize and depute scientists to various
seminars/conferences/ workshops/group meetings etc.
·
To maintain revenue records and land allocation.
