College of Agriculture, Jamnagar

The College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU), Jamnagar, commenced its academic operations in 2025 with an intake capacity of 33 students, including seats reserved under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category. The College is affiliated with Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, and offers the undergraduate degree programme B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, in accordance with the academic framework and guidelines of the ICAR Sixth Deans’ Committee.

At present, the College is functioning from the Main Dry Farming Research Station, Targhadia, Rajkot, providing students with an academic environment enriched by practical learning, agricultural research, and field-based education. The College is committed to nurturing competent, skilled, and socially responsible agricultural professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the advancement of agriculture and rural development.
