22018-19Scope and opportunities of agro-tourism in Saurashtra RegionThere is an ample potential for development of agro-tourism in four identified routes; route-I (Junagadh - Amreli - SasanGir - Junagadh), II (Junagadh - Jamnagar - Porbandar - Junagadh), III (Junagadh- Rajkot- Surendranagar- Junagadh) and route - IV (Junagadh- Veravel - Junagadh) of Saurashtra region.
32019-20Financial inclusion of farmers in Saurashtra regionTo promote financial inclusion in Saurashtra region, the farmers with land holding up to 4 ha need to be provided with lesser used financial services viz. medium and long term credit, personal health insurance and pension within 14 km radius of their households.
42021-22Consumer preference towards organized and unorganized retailing of fruits and vegetablesTraditional fruits and vegetable retailers should assort large and cost efficient assortment with well-behaved staff. Location for such assortment should be in proximity to residential or workplace area to make it convenient. Enduring customer relationship management can built personal linkages and will result in to customer retention through actual need identification and serving them in better way.
