The Agro Based I.T.I. was established under the Directorate of Extension Education, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. Initially it was started at Junagadh Campus, opposite of the University Bhavan. Now it has shifted at Manhar Kutir Campus, opposite new collector office, Junagadh. The main aim of Agro Based I.T.I. is to impart training to the young boys and girls in modern techniques of seed production technology and green house construction and production technology. It also provides opportunity to impart knowledge and improve skill of the trainees for different crops, seed certification and production and also the technology used in green house operating and management. The trainees improve their skills and knowledge by the practical work on the field and under the green house condition.

Objectives of the Centre:
To provide training to the young boys and girls in establishing seed production technology thereby increase the self-employment opportunity for the educated unemployed person.
To impart knowledge regarding greenhouse construction, production and management to the young generation to provide business opportunity.

Admission Details:
Admission details will be advertised in any GUJARATI NEWS PAPER and also www.jau.in website for prior to the commencement of new batch.
Admission will be given on the basis of SSC merit and intake capacity of the I.T.I.
75 % presence is necessary for attending the exam.
