The number of PG students to be admitted shall be decided by a committee comprising the Director of Research & Dean of PG Studies (Chairman), Registrar and faculty Dean, based on the availability of infrastructure, faculty competence, vacancies and intake capacity of PG teachers.

Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the Master degree [M.Tech.] programme (2 Year or 4 semester duration), candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (UG) with an OGPA of not less than 6.00 (10-point scale) for general / EWS candidate and 5.50 (10-point scale) for SC / ST / SEBC / PwD / Sponsored candidate) or its equivalent, both in aggregate and in the relevant field of study.
For admission to the Doctorate degree [Ph.D.] programme (3 Years of 6 semester duration), candidates must possess a Master’s degree with an OGPA of not less than 6.50 (10-point scale) for general / EWS candidate and 6.00 (10-point scale) for SC / ST / SEBC / PwD / Sponsored candidate or its equivalent.
Admission Procedure
Eligible applicants must appear for the entrance test at their own cost.
The entrance test shall be either computer-based mode or OMR based and question papers hall comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and duration of examination shall be 1 (one) hour. The cut off marks for eligibility is 45% in the entrance test.
The merit list shall be prepared for eligible candidates giving 50:50 weightages to the marks of O.G.P.A. (percentage marks) of the last degree and common entrance test. Additionally, the marks of sports / cultural activities shall also be added before preparing the merit list.
Fee Structure
The fees payable by each student admitted to the post graduate studies shall be as Rs. 19600/- (For Boys) and Rs. 12600/- (For Girls) students.
