Dr. D. A. Nakum serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU), Junagadh. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, CTAE, MPUAT, Udaipur, where he specialized in the experimental investigation for biocomposites from agricultural crop residues derived biochar. Dr. Nakum’s work focuses on the design, development, and performance evaluation of various renewable energy systems, including pyrolyzers, torrefaction units, biomass gasifiers, and solar thermal devices aimed at both industrial and rural applications. His research combines academic depth with real-world impact, targeting sustainable solutions for energy challenges in agriculture and allied sectors. He has authored over 14 research papers in reputed international journals, contributing significantly to the scientific community.
