Brief Profile

Dr. Khushbu P. Vaghasiya currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Mota Bhandariya, Amreli, where she is engaged in UG teaching and Co-Curricular activities. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Agriculture, Dr. Subhash University, Junagadh, and also took on the responsibility of Dean (I/C), School of Agriculture. Her professional journey also includes experience as a Senior Project Assistant in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Junagadh Agricultural University, where she was involved in research activities, data collection and analysis, maintenance of research records, and preparation of project reports. She has published 11 research papers and review paper in various national and international journals, 11 popular Articles, 2 Books, 2 Book Chapter and 2 Patent. Her professional achievements include the Best Thesis Award (2022), selection for the SHODH research scholarship, Best Article Award and awards for Best Poster Presentation at the 12th National Seed Congress. She has also contributed to student mentoring, academic programmes, technical training, conferences, and research activities in agriculture and seed technology. She also acted as Judge in Oral Presentation Session in International Conference on Vision 2047: Global Trends in Role of Plant Sciences for Sustainable Development organized by DSU, BAAG, GSBTM and DST, 17-19 July 2024.
