Admission Detail of UG Programme :

1)  B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture 

The College has an undergraduate admission intake capacity of 137 seats for Gujarat students and 30 seats for ICAR students, which are filled on the basis of the merit list.

Eligibility Criterion for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. Degree Programmes:

• The candidates should have passed higher secondary school certificate examination in science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any statutory University / Board in Gujarat State or Examination recognized as equivalent there to by the University or equivalent OGPA. Candidates who have passed higher secondary examination with vocational stream in Agriculture as well as from higher secondary post basic stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects be also admitted.  English is as compulsory subject and candidates must have appeared for GUJCET of the current year.
• Weightage of 5 % Marks are given to Farmer’s Son / Daughter / Brother / Sister / Grand son / Grand daughter. Weightage of 5 % Marks are given For Agriculture subject of Higher Secondary vocational stream in Agriculture.

 

Admission Detail of PG Programmes :

The number of PG students to be admitted shell be decided by the committee of Dean, Registrar and Director of Research and Dean of P G Studies as chairman, on the basis of the availability of infrastructural facilities, faculty competence, vacancies and intake capacity of PG Teachers

Eligibility Criterion for Post Graduate Degree Programmes:

• The number of students to be admitted shell be decided by the committee of Dean, Registrar and Director of Research and Dean of PG Studies as chairman, on the basis of the availability of infrastructural facilities, faculty competence, vacancies, intake capacity of PG Teachers. 
• Eligible applicants are required to appear for the entrance test and interview at their own cost.        
• A candidate for admission to the M.Sc. (Agri.) / M.Sc. (Horti.) Degree programe should possess a Bachelor’s degree with an OGPA of not less than 6.00 (10 basis) or its equivalent in aggregate as well as in the field of studies in which admission is sought. For Ph.D. Degree programe the candidate  should possess a Master's degree with an OGPA of not less than 6.50 (10 basis) or its equivalent  
• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and SEBC class will be admitted to the Master degree programme with OGPA of not less than 5.50 (10 basis) or its equivalent and Ph.D. Degree with  OGPA of not less than 6.00 (10 basis) or its equivalent
