Dr. Mahendra Singh Dulawat is Professor and Head of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering at Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujarat, India. With over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension, his expertise spans renewable energy, solar energy applications in agriculture, agrivoltaics, solar drying, biomass management, and sustainable agricultural energy systems. He holds an M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur and a Ph.D. in Renewable Energy Engineering. Dr. Dulawat has led and contributed to several research projects and technology development initiatives, particularly in agrivoltaics and solar energy applications. He has received international research exposure at Hokkaido University, Japan. His academic contributions include numerous journal publications, book chapters, research bulletins, and extension publications. He is a recipient of the Young Engineer Award and Young Scientist Award and is actively engaged in advancing sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture.
