College of Veterinary Science & A. H., JAU, Junagadh organized one clinical camp at Rajkot in coordination with Karuna Foundation on 7th July, 2019.

     As part of celebration of World Zoonoses day, College of Veterinary science & A.H., JAU, Junagadh organized one clinical camp at Rajkot in coordination with Karuna Foundation.  Function was inaugurated at 8:30 AM and completed by 1:30 PM.  Different sections including ophthalmology, dental scaling unit, vaccination unit, medicine unit, surgery unit and well equipped laboratory were handled by 6 faculties, post graduate students, internee students and undergraduate students from Veterinary College. Principal and Dean, Dr. P. H. Tank monitored all the activities during the camp. Different breeds of dogs and cats were brought to the camp for vaccination, deworming as well as treatment for different ailments. A total of 141 animals were treated in the camp including 139 dogs and two cats. Anti rabies vaccine was administered in 109 dogs and 131 dogs were dewormed. Fifty six dogs were diagnosed and treated for skin diseases, 12 dogs for ophthalmic conditions and 70 animals for general conditions. Dental scaling was performed in 8 dogs and advanced laboratory check up in 10 animals.
