     Department of Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology, College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh is going to organize a Five Days Vocational Training on “Application of One Health Concept for Control of Emerging Zoonoses and Health Threatson 14th to 18th   October, 2019. The training is being organized under aegis of Institutional Development Plan, Indian council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. Around 145-155 delegates and students from host institute, other colleges of JAU, teachers and faculty are expected to participate in the event which shall focus on “One Health” that is maintenance of human, animal and environment health and to implement “One Health” concept, with the help of collaborative efforts of multiple disciplines like Medical science, Veterinary science, Environment science at locally, nationally and globally. The programme shall also feature hands on-training, practical demonstrations, videos, problem solving and panel discussion by experts with students on various areas of “One Health” concept. Eminent speakers from National institutes like ICMR-NIOH, Ahmedabad; NIV, Pune; ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom; IVRI, Izatnagar; GIDM, Gandhinagar; RAJUVAS, Bikaner and other SAU’s from Gujarat will deliver talks on issues related to the theme during the training.
