Placement Cell :
Junagadh Agricultural University has an excellent placement record with top-notch organizations in Agro- industries with a strong and supportive alumni network holding prime position in reputed companies. Started in 2004-05, Placement Cell is still in infancy but could create a positive vibe between the aspirants and the employers. We not only ensure a job for the interested students but also instill a lifetime of confidence and growth. Our dedicated placement cell is constantly in touch with the industry. The Student Counseling & Placement Cell looks after students' well-being, placement and Campus Interview and function with the following objectives:

To keep track of the current status of our ex-students and to record and maintain their needs and comments.

To create and maintain a data-bank on profiles of our present students.

To built and maintain good relations with the industry, inviting Industries/ Organizations for campus interviews, getting feedback on our students’ performance etc.

To keep track of all advertisements related to the sector and communicating them to the concerned.

To organize personality development programs, inviting industry experts for visiting the campus etc.

To assist our students in getting training and placement.
Students Counseling and Placement :
During the year 2012-13, number of campus and off campus interview conducted for the placement of students and 72 students of outgoing batch of undergraduate and Post graduate of Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, and Post Graduate Institute of Agri-Business Management disciplines were absorbed by Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, Axis Bank and private agro-industries as per the details given below.
