Under the guidance of our Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. V. P. Chovatia Sir, A special lecture of Dr.(Mrs.) Manorama Mohanty, Scientist-E & Head of the Meteorological Center of India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ahmedabad on “Climate Change:- Crisis on Infinite Earth” was organized by Agromet Cell, Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh on September 22, 2023. More than 150 students and faculty members were participated in this programme. She shed light on this pressing global challenge covering various facets of climate change, causes, impacts, and potentials.Dr. K. C.  Patel, Director (IT) and Dr. P. D. Kumawat, Professor & Head felicitated the expert.

     She also visited the Metereological Observatory and she appreciated the work of Agro Met Cell and well maintained observatory and their records.
