Three days training on “Use fo drip irrigation and it’s maintanace” was jointly organized during February 21-23, 2016 by Centre of Excellence on Soil & Water Management, JAU, Junagadh and Netafim Irrigation India Pvt. Ltd. at RTTC, JAU, Junagadh for employees working at different farms of this University. Total 23 employees have participated in the second phase of training programme. The training was designed in such a way that trainees gets aware with all parts of drip and it’s use in drip irrigation system, important points to be kept in mind for it’s better utilization and maintanance, crop water requirement, acid treatments, automation in drip irrigation. Field practicals were arranged on different topics like drip installation, lateral winding, acid treatments etc. One exposure visit was arranged at BAPS Farm, Gondal.
