College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. organized a Two Day National Seminar on “Modern Trends and Advances in Animal Sciences” on 21st & 22nd December 2018. The seminar was organized under Institutional Development Plan, ICAR, New Delhi. The seminar was aimed to educate undergraduate students and provide them hands on training and expertise on modern trends in Animal Sciences and Robotics in Agriculture & Allied fields. A total of 60 students attended and actively participated in the seminar. The two day event was divided in three technical sessions.
The seminar included presentation from nine experts speakers viz Dr. D. B. Patil, Director of Research, Kamdhenu University, Dr. T. K. Mohanty, Principal Scientist NDRI, Dr. Vilas Dongre Subject Matter Specialist, UDGIR,. The discussion included artificial intelligence and neural network, sensor automation, NGS and its application, Robotics in Agriculture engineering & Horticulture.
The program was well covered by press and media. At the end of the session students expressed their usefulness of this seminar cum training.
