“National Voter's Day” or “Rashtriya Matdata Diwas” is celebrated every year on 25^th January since 2011 to encourage young voters to take part in effective electoral process. On this occasion every voter is expected to take National Voter’s Day pledge for ethical electoral participation. This year due to holiday on 25^th January, 2020 as per instruction of Office of Chief Electoral Officer, Gujarat State, National Voter’s Day is to be celebrated on 24^th January, 2020. On National Voter’s day administration of voter’s pledge was facilitates by Dr. P.H. Tank, Principal and Dean, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujarat to all the teachers and students at 11.00 am in seminar hall under the aegis of NSS Unit of the college with a view to promote democratic electoral participation.
