The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, started in March, 1984 offers facilities for studying of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, leading to degree of Bachelor of Technology (Agricultural Engineering & Technology). The college has five full–fledged departments namely Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering as well as Renewable Energy Engineering. To meet the professional requirements in the new era, the college has lab facilities of central computer, IoT and AI, Precision Agriculture, Robotics, RS & GIS, High Tech MIS Park and Incubation Center. A practical exposure and on-hand working environment is provided through these labs in additional to different well equipped labs of each subjects. The computer lab houses the latest configuration in computers, scientific, technical and engineering softwares. Over 100 computer terminals with a range of state-of-the-art software applications spread across a variety of labs for UG / PG students to use.  

College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology has an excellent placement record with top-notch organizations in Agro- industries with a strong and supportive alumni network holding prime position in reputed companies.

In year 2025, it is proud to announce that out of 64 graduating students from the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (CAET), Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, 39 students who aspired for placement were successfully selected through campus interviews in the reputed industries. These students secured job offers without the need to search externally - a strong reflection of their capabilities and the university’s growing industry connect. The remaining graduates have chosen to pursue higher studies or prepare for competitive examinations and demonstrating their commitment to academic and professional excellence.
