The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Junagadh Agricultural University, has received the grant under the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP–2.0) from the Government of Gujarat, In this connection a lunching of this policy at the college and its awareness programme was Organized by Skill Development & Startup Cell, CAET, JAU, Junagadh on 30th September 2025. The policy aims to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting students in transforming their ideas into startups, facilitating IP registration, and providing financial as well as technical assistance.

     The launching ceremony was presided over by Hon. Vice Chancellor Dr. V. P. Chovatia. Distinguished guests including Dr. A. G. Pansuriya, Dr. N. B. Jadav, Dr. Y. H. Ghelani, Dr. Mrunal Ambasana, Dr. H. D. Rank, and Dr. T. D. Mehta graced the occasion. In this event more than 225 UG & PG students of college and faculty members have participated. Beneficiary Dr. Hardik Varu also shared his experiences. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. P. P. Gajjar.
