10th September 2025 Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Junagadh Agricultural University, Khapat, Porbandar was organised Technology Week.
On 10th September 2025, at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Junagadh Agricultural University, Khapat, Porbandar, a collaborative initiative of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Khapat-Porbandar, Green TV, Kishan Chaupal, ANDREAS STIHL PRIVATE LIMITED, Gujarat Agriculture Department and ARDEA FOUNDATION, a groundnut crop seminar alongwith formal starting of STIHL Parivartan Yatra were organised as part of Technology Week. During this event Dr. R. B. Vadher gave a lecture on the latest package of practices of groundnut. In this event, 6 progressive farmers who are leaders in one of the new aspects of farming were awarded and 13 farmers were honoured with certificates in the form of commendations. During this event, Associate Director of Extension Education, Junagadh Agricultural University Dr. H. C. Chhodavadia, District Agriculture Officer Shri H. A. Trivedi, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dr. H. R. Vadar, STIHL Marketing Director Shri Shobhit Behl and officers from other line departments attended the entire programme, which was nicely handled by Ms. Ansu Kumar, Green TV. Scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra Shri M. G. Nandaniya and Dr. V. M. Parmar contributed enough to make this programme a success. A total of 252 farmers have participated with keen interest in this programme.
